Clicks, Clans, Groups

Something I don't understand is why people put others in a certain group. My cousins tend to do that a lot. It's like they make you seem worse then they are and you're put into a group where you are not so cool. At least not cool enough to be hanging out with them. I don't understand it. We are all human we all have to work to get to a better place in life. Just because you are richer doesn't mean you should let someone poorer suffer. If you just lend a hand you could both be rich and happy. Why can't we just stop with the childish play and just grow up? We all have to help each other to slowly advance up. Why do we need the groups to segregate us all?

I have these cousins where they think they are too good for anyone. Then I have these others one's who just came from Thailand not to long ago. My cousins who thought they were too good for anyone were the closet to the cousins from Thailand. But, they wouldn't help the cousins from Thailand. Whenever they needed translating they would come to us and ask us because the conceited cousins wouldn't help them. I mean just because they seem different they aren't. We are all the same. How could you just sit back and watch as your cousins are suffering to get to your level? It's so cruel!

Then, at schools there are kids who are segregated. For instance, preps, goths, Asians, etc. I noticed that in High school and lower you have to either fit into a group or make your own. I hated that. What if you had friends in all different types of groups? Why is it that preps are always like the rulers of the school. It's funny because you'd have your own group and since preps are so cool they'd always act rich. But, when you saw their cars oh my, their cars, they were older then your oldest sister or brother. It was funny. I mean how can you have all that money to by Hollister and A&E but, not have any money to even buy a newer car? I found that very strange.

As you can tell society has really set it's guidelines. You have to look a certain way just to fit in. You have to have a certain amount of money just to be able to "click" with any group. I blame society but, it could be something else.

My Trip to the Dells

This was the first time i'd actually stayed at rented house. Just like a real house had everything a house did. My sister and her husband had planned this trip for their friends, me and my 2 other sisters, and some of my brother in law's cousins.

When we first got there we choose our rooms by the order that we paid. The cabin had 6 rooms. The master bedroom was taken by my sister and her husband, of course. It was a huge room and also had a bathroom in it. The bathroom had a separate bathtub and shower. The bathtub had a built in Jacizzi. Sadly, I never got the chance to try it out. In the bathroom there was a separte little, tiny room for the toilet which I thought was neat. The bathroom also had two big mirrors in it. I'd say 1/3 of the time when we were at home we were in the bathroom.

We picked our room downstairs in the basement. That's where most of the rooms were. Our room since we had three people, was a bunk bed in the basement. It was nice to be in a different atmosphere for a while.

The first night we played pool and got to know eachother better. On the next morning we ate and got ready to sking/tubing. When we got there it was very busy. There was a winterfest going on. We then decided to go horseback riding.

When we first got there we had to sign our lives away on a paper saying they wouldn't be responsible for anything bad that happens. I was so anxious and scared. I even told my brother in law not to laugh at me if I cry. I didn't even want to ride horses but, no one would let me stay back and wait so I had to go. We all got our horses.

I got a black horse named Jumbo. He was and adventurous horse. My horse kept making his own tracks and he kept trying to find food. I was scared because my horse wouldn't do what I wanted it to.

Later, after we went horseback riding we went to the Tangent Mall. After the mall we went to Walmart and Khols to find swimming suits. Then we went home ate again, got ready, and left to go swimming in the resort. The resort had an arcade, pool, gym, swimming pool, and hot tub. We swam and used the hot tub for an hour then went back to the house. At the house we relaxed and just hung out with everyone.

The day we left we had to cleaned the rented house. Everyone helped out in cleaning and getting things into people's cars. After we left we went to eat out at Denny's'; then we all headed home. Overall, my trip to the dells was fun. I enjoyed a little time away from the real world.
